Palms Casino Resort Introduces First Dedicated Non-Smoking Gaming Room
The official announcement was made earlier in August, with the room offiically opening on Tuesday
On Tuesday, Palms Casino Resort officially opened a 7,300-square-foot non-smoking gaming room on its Las Vegas property, turning a former restaurant footprint into a dedicated slot area with more than 200 machines and a full-service bar.
In the original announcement, the resort said the new space is “a distinct, enclosed gaming environment with its own full-service bar” and that it was designed for guests seeking “a premium casino experience without the smoke.”
Smoke-Free Floor, Slot-Only Play
The addition sits near the sportsbook and keeps table games on the main floor, where smoking is still allowed.
Palms said the concept answers guest demand for more non-smoking options.
Kevin Glass, General Manager of Palms Casino Resort emphasised, “guest feedback drives so much of what we do, and expanding our non-smoking gaming options is something we’ve heard consistently,”
“This new space combines over 200 of the latest games, a dedicated bar, and a new gaming experience to create an entirely new way to play at Palms. And since Palms was recently recognized as one of the luckiest casinos in the country, we thought we’d make a little more room for the winning to continue.”
The casino also scheduled opening promotions through September.
More Smoke-Free on the Horizon?
The property has not gone fully smoke-free, but the new room gives it a sharper product for locals and visitors who want to avoid the main casino floor.
In recent months, Red Hawk Resort and Casino announced a renovation that would add a smoke-free floor. It would make it the only one in the area with a smoke-free casino.
Seminole Hard Rock Tampa expanded its smoke-free floor in June to cover more than 40% of its slot inventory.
