Casino Supervisor at Bloomberry’s Solaire North Caught Manipulating VIP Points

Police said around 9,900 points were inserted over roughly two hours

A casino pit supervisor at Bloomberry Resorts’ Solaire Resort North has been arrested in Quezon City over allegations that he manually added thousands of gaming points to VIP accounts that were not backed by actual play, according to Asia Gaming Brief

The Quezon City Police District said the 33-year-old employee, identified only as “Jovim” or “Jovin”, was detained after an internal review flagged suspicious activity on player records.

Police said the alleged scheme involved crediting points to Diamond-tier accounts while the tables under his supervision were closed and no customers were gambling.

Investigators said about 9,900 points were inserted over roughly two hours, a tally that could have unlocked rewards and membership benefits without the required wagering activity.

Qualified Theft

Security staff at the resort took action after the suspect allegedly admitted to carrying out the credit-point manipulation without authorisation from his employer. The same reports said CCTV footage captured him entering account numbers for two patrons and adding credits while the gaming area was not in use. He is facing a complaint for qualified theft.

The case has drawn attention because Solaire Resort North only opened in Quezon City in May 2024 and operates in a city where local authorities have already taken a strict line on access to casino premises.

In 2024, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte barred city hall employees from entering the property, and later reports said the city worked with Bloomberry on a photo database and entry controls to enforce the ban.
