Seneca Niagara Invests $47 Million in Hotel Upgrades

The work is due to finish by the end of 2027

Seneca Resorts & Casinos will spend $47 million to refresh 594 hotel rooms and suites at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino.

The company announced on Monday that work is due to start in October and finish by the end of 2027. 

Kevin Nephew, the company’s chief executive, said Seneca Niagara is “the gateway to bold, distinctive, and memorable experiences for our guests.”

Bigger Bet on Border Traffic

Seneca Niagara’s 26-story hotel opened in 2006 and is the largest in the region, with 604 rooms including 10 penthouses. 

Seneca said it sold more than 181,000 room nights in Niagara last year and is running ahead of last year through June. 

The project amounts to about $79,000 per room.
