Take a Bow
Global Gaming Women’s Events Committee has brought the organization’s mission to the industry’s biggest stages.
As co-chair of the Global Gaming Women (GGW) Events Committee alongside Melissa Aarskaug, I’m extremely proud of the work the committee has done in elevating GGW’s presence and promoting GGW members’ thought leadership in the gaming industry.
The Events Committee focuses on GGW’s footprint at conferences, trade shows and other non-educational industry gatherings. This includes identifying GGW members for speaking engagements such as our Game Changers panels, fireside chats and similar programming.
We also create engaging on-site spaces, from receptions and mixers to lounges and retreats, where GGW members, allies and supporters can connect and network. And we work hand in hand with other GGW committees to host signature moments like Sip & Social and Kick Up Your Heels.
A Milestone Year
2026 has been a special year for GGW as we celebrate our 10th anniversary. The Events Committee has represented GGW at industry events on three continents, spanning tribal, iGaming and commercial casino gaming, with more than a dozen panels and a full slate of networking events.
Our panels have covered a range of critical industry topics, including responsible gaming and compliance, leadership and career growth, building lasting partnerships, sustainability and the evolving omnichannel gaming landscape.
Our committed committee members alongside GGW leadership work tirelessly to ensure that GGW’s mission and vision are well represented, that members have ample opportunities to share their knowledge and insights with the gaming community, and that GGW events and experiences are engaging and welcoming to all.
2026 Event Committee highlights include:
- ICE Barcelona: Game Changers fireside chat
- NEXT.io Summit New York: Three Game Changers panels
- Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention (IGA): Game Changers panel and our annual member mixer
- SBC Summit Malta: Game Changers Panel
- SBC Summit Canada: Women in Gaming Breakfast

Looking Ahead
I’m incredibly proud of all that the Events Committee has accomplished, and I appreciate the hard work and effort of everyone who makes this possible. Planning for 2027 is already under way, and I’m confident we’ll have another impactful year of meaningful connections, powerful conversations and growing visibility for women across the gaming industry.
Our work has begun for ICE Barcelona in January, followed in April by the NEXT.io Summit New York and the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention in Las Vegas.
