Resorts World Las Vegas Makes Double Senior Appointment
Lou Dorn will become chief legal officer at Resorts World Las Vegas and Elizabeth Tranchina will be general counsel.
Resorts World Las Vegas has announced the addition of Lou Dorn and Elizabeth Tranchina to its management team.
Dorn will become the company’s new chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Meanwhile, Tranchina will take on the role of general counsel.
Dorn joins Resorts World Las Vegas after almost four years with Bally’s. He was most recently its senior vice president, general counsel for North America.
Before this, Dorn worked as chief legal officer at Monarch Casino & Resort. He also spent time with SLS Las Vegas, TAO Group and Las Vegas Hilton.
“With decades of experience in gaming law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance, Lou brings a depth of knowledge that will help ensure our operations remain forward-thinking,” Resorts World Las Vegas said on LinkedIn.
Tranchina Brings Expertise to Resorts World Las Vegas
Tranchina also joins the management team at the venue. She most recently worked as general counsel for Investar Bank, National Association, after more than two decades in the gambling sector.
Industry roles included general counsel at Rio Hotel & Casino Las Vegas and director of compliance at Rush Street Interactive. She also worked for Pinnacle Entertainment, Isle of Capri Casinos Peninsula Gaming and the Louisiana Lottery Corporation.
“Elizabeth is a seasoned leader with more than two decades of expertise in legal strategy, compliance, and risk management across gaming, hospitality and financial services,” Resorts World Las Vegas said.
