Longtime tribal gaming executive Mike Bean was named CEO of the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa last year.

He’s held the same position for the Desert Diamond Casinos in Arizona, the Saginaw Chippewa Gaming Enterprise in Michigan and Mohegan Sun Pocono in Pennsylvania. He’s also held leadership positions in the Harrah’s and Boyd organizations. Bean’s expertise is running first-class operations with an emphasis on building employee morale. He’s also the creator of CareerCache, an online organizing tool that allows employees to track their accomplishments as they happen to make annual reviews more efficient and positive. He spoke with GGB Editor at Large Roger Gros at the Indian Gaming tradeshow in San Diego in April.
