ISI Partners with Canton Gaming on New Sportsbook at Maryland’s Greene Turtle
Race and sportsbook technology provider Internet Sports International (ISI) has linked up with Canton Gaming to open an upgraded retail sportsbook at The Greene Turtle in Baltimore, Maryland.
Now open, the sportsbook features a range of automated sportsbook kiosks offering numerous betting options. It serves as an upgrade to the existing Canton Gaming retail betting offering at the property.
Under the partnership, ISI has upgraded all 10 sports betting kiosks at the Canton-run venue with its software. Plans are in place to evolve the offering further and present customers with a wider range of betting services.
The Greene Turtle is a chain of sports bars with locations in a number of other states.
Canton Gaming Commits to ‘Elevated’ Betting Experience
Canton Gaming owner Jay Sapperstein said that ISI is the ideal partner to “elevate” its sportsbook offerings.
“In a competitive industry, ISI’s state-of-the-art kiosks enable us to set new service standards and continuously innovate for our guests’ entertainment,” Sapperstein said. “The seamless process from negotiations to opening was remarkable, thanks to ISI’s outstanding service.”
Ernest Matthews, vice president and general counsel of ISI, said the provider is seeing more demand from retail casino operators to improve their sports betting offering in what is a competitive market.
“With multiple sportsbook providers leaving markets across the U.S., more retail casino clients are seeking innovative, cost-effective ways to establish or replace their sports betting operations,” Matthews said. “Their existing hardware can often be reused, significantly reducing initial investment.
“The recent rollout went flawlessly, thanks to the top-tier facility and staff. We look forward to a long-term partnership. We are confident that ISI is here for the long haul in retail sports betting.”
