Buzz Bingo set for £25 Million Upgrade Project

Buzz Bingo has announced details of a new project that will see it spend around £25 million ($21 million) on upgrades across its UK network of bingo halls.

Eight venues will be renovated as part of the new initiative, according to G3 Newswire. The program will be funded by banking group Barclays and cover improvements across technology, design and digital.

In total, more than 10,000 electronic bingo terminals will be installed at Buzz Bingo halls. Other enhancements will include new digital membership cards and self-service kiosks.

Among the venues that will benefit are locations in Leeds, Stockport and Sheffield. The latter was the first to undergo a revamp, with the venue now featuring a refreshed main hall, new lounge and bar areas and additional features such as digital screens.

Buzz Bingo to ‘Transform’ Playing Experience

Buzz CEO Dominic Mansour said the upgrades will transform the overall experience for customers across the UK.

“This is all about modernizing bingo for the next generation of players and taking our clubs to the next level to offer a truly unmatched experience for our players,” he said.

“By combining cutting-edge technology, more modern interiors and even better food and drink, we’re not just refurbishing our clubs — we’re going to be reimagining what bingo can be in the future.”
