During the base game, any jewel scatter has the potential to randomly trigger its respective 10 Free Spins bonus. Players that land three scatters are guaranteed to trigger the bonus. The golden lantern scatter can also initiate a free spin event with a pick bonus. Free spins utilize the accumulated Random Expands to grow the reels for up to 100,000 ways to win.

Throughout game play, any colored jewel that lands without triggering the bonus adds a random number of expansions to the sliders above—up to five expansions. Each bonus slider has a must-hit-by limit. Once triggered, the reels shift as a random number of expansions are applied to each free spin. Reels continue to change until the final free spin and all expansions have been used.

As one or more of the chambers nears the top, the entire top screen moves upward, indicating an approaching bonus event.

The chamber levels remain in place when play has ended, giving players a chance to shop around for the ideal bonus event. However, the operator has the option to disable the meters displaying numbers, so those levels will not show.
