This new game group, with base games Sushi Cat and Hibachi Hound, features fun animated cat and dog chef characters in multiple bonuses.

The base game is unique, in that it plays out on two stacked, interactive reel arrays. Each array is a three-by-five, 40-line format. A knife symbol landing on either reel set is a wild symbol that expands in the direction the knife is pointing, filling the reel as wild on both reel arrays.

Bonus scatter symbols also expand to both arrays, creating a second-chance opportunity to trigger a bonus when scatters are already present on one of the reel sets.

Landing six or more scatters on either reel array triggers the main Wasabi Lock Bonus, with triggering symbols all locking in place as cash-on-reels symbols on a nine-by-five grid.

Five free spins follow on the bottom six rows of the bonus grid, the object being to land more cash-on-reels symbols as in a normal hold-and-spin feature. If the triggering spin shows six or more scatters on each of the two cards, all nine rows are active immediately.

At the bottom of the screen are “feature reels,” which can randomly trigger one or more of four “mini features,” including an extra spin, unlocking a row, upgrading locked credit prizes, or awarding all locked credit prizes in the same column the mini feature landed.

In addition to the cash symbols, treasure chests can land during the feature to award any of the three lower-level jackpots—static bonuses of $120 (Mini) and $400 (Minor), and a progressive resetting at $1,000 (Major). Filling the grid with cash symbols returns the top Grand jackpot, resetting at $10,000.
