Triple Troves

This new game on Ainsworth’s A-STAR Raptor cabinet, with base games Dragon’s Delight and Reigning Rhino, features three persistent pots and several variations of free games.

The base game is a ways-to-win game on a four-by-five reel array, resulting in 1,024 ways to win on each spin. The pots of gold coins above the reels are marked with the different bonus features—“Cash Bonus” and “Dragon/Rhino” flank the “Ultimate Dragon/Rhino” bonus pot. Each grows larger when corresponding reel symbols land, and one or more burst randomly to trigger a bonus.

The Cash Bonus displays six jackpots, each with three circles next to it. The jackpots include static awards of $200, $400 and $1,000, and progressives resetting at $228 (Maxi), $718 (Major) and $10,225 (Grand). The reel symbols are replaced by gold coins, and the player selects coins until filling all three circles to award one of the jackpots.

In the Dragon or Rhino bonus, the bottom three jackpots are replaced by 10 free games each, but randomly, two of the free-game awards are eliminated, leaving the player to select from a field more likely to award one of the progressives. All wins including a third-reel 2X symbol in the free spin round are doubled, and additional free spins can be triggered during the feature. The “Ultimate” version of this bonus adds more multipliers and coins to trigger additional free spins.
