Sun International Names New Hospitality and Sales Chief

South African gambling, hospitality and entertainment group Sun International has named Nomzamo Radebe as its new chief operating officer for hospitality and sales.

A chartered accountant, Radebe joins from SA Corporate Real Estate, where she served as COO. She will officially begin her new role at Sun on February 2, the company confirmed.

During a career spanning 27 years, Radebe also spent time in executive roles at Excellerate JHI, Pareto and National Treasury. Her expertise includes property asset management, portfolio optimisation, M&A, treasury management and stakeholder engagement.

In addition, she serves on the board of the South African Property Owners Association.

Radebe set for ‘Pivotal’ Role at Sun International

Ulrik Bengtsson, CEO of Sun International, talked up the new appointment. Bengtsson said Radebe will play a “pivotal” role in its forward strategy.
