Signature Systems Partners Yellow Dog for Osage Casinos Project

Signature Systems

Point-of-sale solutions provider Signature Systems (SSI) linked up with inventory management platform Yellow Dog Software to support Osage Casinos with an overhaul of its inventory systems.

The integration combined Yellow Dog’s inventory capabilities with the PDQ POS system from SSI. This, the two companies said, will help streamline operations, improve cost control, and gain real-time visibility across properties.

At the heart of the integration is retail and food & beverage inventory. For retail, stock-keeping units created in Yellow Dog automatically sync to PDQ POS, while sales data flows back to Yellow Dog to update inventory in real time.

As for food and beverage, menu items and modifiers from the POS are categorized into cost-of-goods departments for accurate reporting. Operators can also link menu items to recipes.

Efficiency Key for Signature Systems and Yellow Dog

Osage Casinos went live with the new integration in September this year. It was first rolled out to support convenience store reporting and ordering within its properties.

“For our retail stores to operate as efficiently as possible, we needed our inventory system to interface seamlessly with our POS,” said Joe Roybal, chief information officer at Osage Casinos. “SSI once again delivered a solution that exceeded expectations while helping us maintain the best possible guest experience.”

Yellow Dog CEO Jay Livingood also welcomed the new link-up. He said it will help to improve efficiency at Osage Casinos.

“We are excited to partner with Signature Systems and deliver our integrated inventory solution to their casino customers,” Livingood said. “Together, we’re making it easier for operators to gain real-time visibility, streamline processes, and drive efficiency across all areas of their operations.”

John White, executive vice president and chief technology officer at SSI, added: “Our newest partnership with Yellow Dog Software gives our customers access to another premium, fully integrated solution within PDQ POS.

“In just the past five years, we’ve added more than 40 casinos to our customer base. This shows the industry’s strong demand for flexible, high-quality technology.”
