Paradise Co’s Record Quarter Defies September Slowdown
This came after record numbers in August
Paradise Co has delivered another strong quarter, even as September revenue cooled from August’s record level.
According to Inside Asian Gaming, the South Korean casino operator said net casino revenue for September came to KRW86.7 billion, about $64.5 million, up 38.2% from a year earlier but down from KRW104.3 billion in August.
The retreat reflected softer casino drop and weaker table-game performance, although the company’s machine business continued to edge higher.
Paradise Co said the quarterly outcome was supported by “improved hold”, a factor that helped turn a healthy volume of play into record earnings.
September Cools, Quarter Still Heats Up
Casino drop for September totalled KRW605.1 billion, up 6.6% year on year but 11.1% lower than August.
Table-game revenue fell 17.9% month on month to KRW81.1 billion, though it remained Paradise Co’s biggest income source.
Machine revenue rose to KRW5.65 billion, up 12.6% from a year earlier. The softer September followed August’s all-time monthly high, when stronger table-game hold had lifted revenue sharply.
Record Quarter Offsets Monthly Slide
The wider trend remains positive. Paradise Co posted third-quarter casino revenue of KRW268.2 billion, a record for the period and above its previous high of KRW247.5 billion.
For the first nine months of 2026, revenue across Paradise Co’s four casinos reached KRW744.6 billion, up 10.8% from the same period last year.
