Paradise Co. Hits Record August Casino Revenue
VIP traffic remained steady however
Paradise Co. posted a record August casino revenue of KRW104.91 billion, or $76.9 million, as the South Korean foreigner-only operator benefited from a stronger table-game hold.
According to Asia Gaming Brief, the result was up 32.1% from a year earlier and 35.8% from July, topping the previous monthly peak set in May.
The company reported casino sales of KRW77.89 billion in July which was up 3.6% from a year earlier.
The company has said it aims to lift revenue “by more than 10 percent” a year through 2027 as part of its value-up strategy.
VIP Traffic Held Steady
VIP visiting days were nearly flat at 16,950, with Japanese traffic up and Chinese traffic down, showing how mixed customer demand remains across Paradise’s four casinos.
Japanese VIP visiting days rose to 9,668 from 9,217 a year earlier, while Chinese VIP days fell to 3,027 from 3,325.
Table-game revenue climbed 32.7% to KRW99.43 billion, helped by a 14.6% hold rate versus 11.4% a year earlier.
Portfolio Gains
Machine revenue also improved, and Paradise said its first eight months of 2026 casino revenue reached KRW658.5 billion, up 8.1% from a year earlier.
The company operates Walkerhill Seoul, Paradise Busan, Jeju Grand and Paradise City in Incheon.
