Paradise Co. Sees Surge in July Casino Sales
The trend continues in South Korea following Jeju Tower's also sale high
Paradise Co. reported July casino sales of KRW77.89 billion ($54.46 million), up 25.8% from June and 3.6% from a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Korea Exchange.
Per Inside Asian Gaming, table-game revenue accounted for most of the gain reaching KRW73.46 billion, up 3.6% year-on-year and 30.3% month-on-month.
Slot sales eased from the prior month by 20.2% but still edged higher year on year across the operator’s four foreigner-only properties in Seoul, Jeju, Busan and Incheon.
This trend continues the South Korea casino surge as Jeju Tower also hit new highs with sales of KRW51.59 billion.
July Rebound Follows Mixed First Half
The monthly improvement came after June weakness, when revenue slipped sharply from May, and it extended a broader recovery trend that has helped lift Paradise through 2026.
Paradise Co. reported a solid month in May, with casino sales rising 21.2% from a year earlier to KRW98.87 billion. The result also marked a 13.1% gain from April, extending the South Korean foreigner-only operator’s recent run of stronger trading.
For the first seven months, sales rose 4.6% from a year earlier to KRW554.26 billion, while cumulative table drop climbed 9.1% to KRW4.49 trillion.
Paradise Co reported a 39.6% year-on-year revenue drop in March.
