Jamul Casino Resort in California Opens New Hotel Tower
The Jamul Casino Resort near San Diego has hosted a grand opening weekend for its new boutique hotel tower.
Taking place from August 15-17, the event featured several local dignitaries, senior tribal members and celebrities. Erica Pinto, chairwoman of the California Tribal Chairpersons Association, San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria and baseball Hall-of-FamerTrevor Hoffman were among those in attendance.
“This moment has been a long time coming,” Jamul Casino Resort President and General Manager Mary Cheeks said. “Our new hotel tower is the result of years of dedication and vision, designed to create a truly exceptional experience for our guests while deepening our commitment to revitalizing the community.”
What’s New at Jamul Casino Resort?
The 16-story addition features 200 rooms including multiple high-tech luxury suites. It also houses a premium spa with a full-service salon, rooftop pool and a dining venue.
The resort is now accepting reservations for the new hotel tower at JamulCasino.com.
“We’re proud to unveil an all-in-one destination that captures the best of San Diego,” Pinto said.
Opened in 2016, the venue is owned and operated by Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation (JIVDC). The $430 million property features almost 1,700 slot machines, 46 live table games, a dedicated poker room and various restaurants, bars and lounges.
