This new video slot on Aristocrat’s giant King Max cabinet combines several bonus styles into the newest entry in the company’s most popular game family. Jackpot Buffalo includes a metamorphic collection feature, the company’s signature Hold & Spin feature, free games and a bonus wheel, all woven into the familiar Buffalo theme.

The base game uses a five-reel, 1,024-ways-to-win

format. During primary game play, the letters spelling out “BUFFALO” are banked until the word is complete, which triggers the main Hold & Spin feature.

Also triggered by eight or more Gold Buffalo symbols on the screen, the Hold & Spin feature plays out on a double reel array—eight rows. The reels spin to reveal cash-on-reels awards or lower-level jackpots. The money symbols lock in place for three spins, and the spin count returns to three with every new cash symbol. The feature continues until three spins without a cash symbol or until the entire grid is full of cash symbols, triggering the Grand jackpot, which resets at $10,000.

Also on the hold-and-spin feature, a spin may reveal a “Mega Wheel” symbol, triggering a feature within the feature—a spin of the Mega Wheel, which includes cash awards from $500 to $4,000, with one slice awarding the Mega jackpot, a multi-site prize resetting at $1 million.

The classic Buffalo Free Games feature also is included, but with a twist. When it is triggered, a Bonus Wheel appears, which spins to one of eight enhancements to the free spins. Four add two multiplying wild symbols each to the free spins. They range from 2X to 5X, and landing two multiplying wilds in a win adds the multiplier values together. Other wheel slices include two “Double Buffalo” features that provide twin reel arrays for the free spins, and two “Mystery Buffalo” enhancements.
