IGT Debuts Wheel of Fortune Big Money Spin at Downtown Grand

International Game Technology has rolled out its new Wheel of Fortune Big Money Spin electronic table game at Downtown Grand Casino in Las Vegas.

The standalone table game features many of the attributes from IGT’s successful Wheel of Fortune slots franchise. Titles from this series have been running for almost three decades.

Players select a color-coded bet amount that corresponds with the colored wedges on a digital Wheel of Fortune to place a wager. They win when their wager matches the digital spin, filling in letters in the game’s iconic puzzle board.

In addition, in-game features such as Fortune Spin Bonus and Jackpot Bonus activate a large physical wheel. This, IGT said, delivers a visible and recognizable win celebration on gaming floors.

Global Debut for IGT and Wheel of Fortune

Downtown Grand Casino is the first casino property in the world to launch the new Wheel of Fortune game. Paul Phillips, director of casino operations at the venue, said the property was “delighted” to partner with IGT for the debut.

“Our guests instantly connected with the Wheel of Fortune brand,” he said. “They are eager to try their favorite slots brand in a new format. The stature and appeal of the game’s ‘Big Wheel’ is inspiring a wide range of players to give the new game a try.”
