Jonathan Jossel came to Las Vegas almost 20 years ago to work on real estate for the owner of the Plaza Hotel & Casino, in Downtown. A few years later, he was named the CEO and has transformed the Plaza into one of the jewels of Downtown. Located on Main Street near the start of the Fremont Street Experience, Jossel has attracted a wide variety of customers with his adherence to the old Las Vegas tenet — “good food, good drinks, good gamble.” But he has also added a few twists to that along the way that makes the Plaza a special destination for Las Vegas visitors. He spoke with GGB Editor at Large, Roger Gros, in the lounge of Oscar’s Steakhouse, one of the many restaurants offered at the Plaza, in April.
