G2E Reenvisioned
The industry's next big ideas start here, at the 2026 Global Gaming Expo
Every year we cut the red ribbon and a new iteration of G2E commences. For 25 years, we’ve welcomed major slot developers, the casino operators you know and love, the newest technologies, researchers and everyone working behind the scenes who helps make the gaming industry work.
This year we’ve expanded the show in ways that showcase the growth of the industry and highlight where the next 25 years will take us.
AN EXPANDED SHOW FLOOR
You’ll notice many new changes to the show floor at G2E in October, including a new Business and Technology Zone to bring together the developing technologies that are driving the future of the gaming industry. Whether that’s marketing and advertising technologies, loyalty platforms that enhance your customer relationships, or internal workforce and operational technologies, you’ll find it all right here. Each day the Zone will host Coffee & Conversations, facilitated discussions alongside four featured sessions designed to foster connections that will help to shape the industry’s future.
An expanded Dealer Championship—a friendly competition that celebrates those individuals who help make a guest’s casino experience—is expected to be a hit for the second year. The inaugural tournament consisted of 32 dealers from across the country and culminated in Graton Resort & Casino’s Elleonor Hoffman being crowned champion. Elleonor will return this year to crown the winner from an expanded competition pool that now includes Canada and Mexico. We’re eager to see the excitement and camaraderie return while showcasing the precision, skill and showmanship that are woven throughout our industry.
“The Strip” is another popular feature returning for its second year, featuring new and interactive activations every day that showcase the recent innovations in entertainment, technology and casino operations.
Whether you plan to explore the Networking Lounge, the New Exhibitor Zone, the Strip or simply wander through the booths across the floor, there’s something new—and new connections to be made—for everyone.
EDUCATION SESSIONS, YOUR WAY
We’re reimagining the education sessions this year with fresh themes such as digital technologies, lottery, new gaming frontiers, visionaries, total property experience and startups so the evolving gaming landscape is represented in our conversations. Many speakers will be first-timers, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas that will spark conversation and strengthen industry collaboration among attendees.
We’ve created new topical days so that attendees can come for a day and have it their way! Sometimes a week is a commitment. So if you can only fit one day into your packed schedules, find the day that suits you best. The schedule is:
• Monday, Sept. 28: Digital Technologies, Marketing, New Gaming Frontiers and Traditional Gaming
• Tuesday, Sept. 29: Global Gaming, Lottery and Total Property Experience
• Wednesday, Sept. 30: Accessibility, Inclusion, Culture, Payments, Responsible Gaming and Sports Betting
BEYOND THE SHOW
One thing I love about G2E is the opportunity for connections to be made outside the show floor and educational sessions. The industry is incredibly connected and supportive, from pioneers to the newest innovators. Each year we host the Gaming Hall of Fame to honor industry leaders whose contributions have helped shape the industry to what it is today. This year we’re recognizing four inductees whose leadership has driven growth and success from all corners of the industry.
• Holly Gagnon has opened and operated many notable casino properties and was a founding member of Global Gaming Women, championing female representation in gaming.
• Secretary Bill Lance of the Chickasaw Nation drove tribal gaming innovation and policy from his seat as secretary of state for a tribe with deep gaming roots.
• Scott Olive—one of the most influential gaming designers in the industry—helped drive the adoption of the penny slot and some of the most recognizable slot games ever made.
• Finally, Tim Wilmott, former CEO of Penn Entertainment and former COO of Harrah’s entertainment division, has led some of gaming’s most recognizable brands.
We also will celebrate the industry’s rising stars at the Emerging Leaders 40 Under 40 event. Sponsored by Global Gaming Business and The Innovation Group, the event recognizes emerging talent across commercial, tribal, manufacturing, law and regulation. This is always a moving event that highlights the continued strength of the industry and what we can expect in the years ahead.
Last but not least, one of my favorites is Global Gaming Women’s annual Kick Up Your Heels event where we celebrate the women who have paved the way for today’s leaders—and meet those who will carry the industry forward.
I, along with the rest of the American Gaming Association and RX, am excited to welcome you to Las Vegas and G2E in a few short weeks. We look forward to cutting the ribbon and getting the conversations started.
