Casinos Austria International Names New Managing Director

Per Jaldung served previously as CEO of Casino Cosmopol in Sweden.

Casinos Austria International has confirmed the appointment of Per Jaldung as its managing director.

Jaldung is a highly experienced industry professional, having worked in gambling since 2002.

He is best known for his 14-and-a-half years as CEO of Casino Cosmopol in Sweden. Prior to this, Jaldung was general manager of the Casino Cosmopol Gothenburg venue and security manager for Casino Cosmopol Stockholm.

Aside from this, he served as chairman of the European Casino Association between 2015 and 2023. He is now honorary president of the organization.

In addition, he is CEO of Grand Casino Brussels, the largest land-based casino in Belgium. He will continue in this role despite taking up the new position at its parent, Casinos Austria International.

Jaldung ‘Proud’ of Casinos Austria Management Role

Commenting about his appointment at Casinos Austria on LinkedIn, Jaldung said he was “proud” to be taking up the new role.

“I’m truly proud and excited to take on the challenge as managing director of Casinos Austria International,” he said.

“I really look forward to collaborating with the team to strengthen our existing businesses across our countries and to explore new opportunities for the company in the international gaming market.”

Aside from the Belgian venue, Casinos Austria International owns several other locations in Europe, as well as one casino in Egypt.
