ELG Eligibility Criteria

  1. Rules for Entry
    1. Candidates must be under the age of 40 for at least part of the year they are being nominated (e.g. to be nominated in 2026, candidate must be born before December 31, 1986).
    2. Must be actively employed in or have a direct occupational relevance to the gaming industry (including but not limited to, operators, regulators, suppliers, or industry consultants).
    3. Self-nominations and third-party nominations (colleagues, mentors, supervisors) are both accepted.
    4. Previous 40 Under 40 honorees are not eligible to apply again.
    5. Nominations close on July 8, 2026.
    6. Nominations must be submitted online through the standardized form.
  1. Selection Criteria
    1. Professional Impact (30%): Achievements and career milestones within the gaming industry. Demonstrated excellence in their role and significant contributions to their organization or the broader industry.
    2. Leadership & Innovation (30%): Evidence of leadership skills, including initiatives led, teams managed, or projects spearheaded. Demonstrated innovation, creativity, or unique contributions that have advanced the industry.
    3. Future Potential (30%): The nominee’s potential for continued impact and leadership within the industry. Evidence of a clear career trajectory with goals that align with industry growth.
    4. Community Involvement & Advocacy (10%): Involvement in industry associations, advocacy groups, or charitable activities related to gaming. Contributions to the community, including mentorship, outreach, and volunteer efforts.
