Muckleshoot Casino Resort has appointed Valdemar Maldonado Jr. as chief operating officer, marking a significant milestone in the career of a longstanding leader within the organization.

As COO, Maldonado will continue to oversee day-to-day operations and drive strategic initiatives that support the continued evolution of Muckleshoot Casino Resort as a premier entertainment destination in the Pacific Northwest.

Over the years, Maldonado rose through the ranks, holding key leadership positions including business leader and executive director of gaming. For the past two years, he has served as interim COO, guiding operations with a deep understanding of the resort’s mission, vision and values.
