Trop Taps Tim Tretton for MontBleu GM
Long-time gaming industry expert Timothy Tretton is the new general manager of the MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa in Lake Tahoe, Tropicana Entertainment announced on August 26.
“We were looking for an entrepreneurial, future-focused leader, and Tim certainly fits the bill,” Tropicana President and CEO Tony Rodio said. “We are proud to have him join the Tropicana team and look forward to the many contributions he will make.”
Tretton has 37 years of experience in the gaming industry working for Caesars Entertainment in positions ranging from beverage shift manager to director of casino operations and completed dealer and bartending schools to better understand the industry.
Tretton most recently was vice president and assistance general manager for Harrah’s Reno and responsible for its daily operations, strategic planning, budgetary performance, and other important responsibilities.
The 437-room MontBleu Resort has a 45,000-square-foot casino, spa, restaurants and nightlife venues.
