This game, on The Baron Portrait cabinet, applies features popularized by the hit game Buffalo Mega Stampede to one of Aristocrat’s most enduring slot themes.

The base game is a 1,024-ways-to-win format on a four-by-four reel array. The central bonus is Aristocrat’s trademark Hold & Spin feature, enhanced by filling meters spelling out “SUPER” and/or “MEGA” above the reels. These are the same enhancements introduced with Buffalo Mega Stampede, with stampeding wolves instead of buffaloes.

Triggering the main Hold & Spin bonus presents a five-by-six grid, with up to five additional rows that can be unlocked by achieving cash-on-reels thresholds. Each blue wolf symbol landing during the feature lights up one of the letters in the “SUPER” meter; each red wolf symbol lights up a letter in “MEGA.”

When all the letters in “SUPER” are complete, timber wolves stampede vertically from the bottom of the screen to leave additional cash-on-reels prizes on the grid. Completing “MEGA” sends wolves across the screen horizontally to add multipliers to existing cash-on-reels prizes.

Landing a gold timber wolf on the screen triggers a feature within the feature—a separate reel spin to land a large credit award or one of four jackpots, including the top progressive, resetting at $12,500.
