Superpowered

In September 2025, following a global search, Dylan Slaney was appointed CEO of Aristocrat Interactive. The subsidiary of Aristocrat Leisure Ltd. was established in 2024 following the parent company’s acquisition of Anaxi and Neo Games. The unit describes itself as “a seamless bridge from land to online” that spans iGaming, iLottery and entertainment. It enables players to freely engage “wherever, whenever and with whatever content they choose.”

Slaney is right at home in the growing online sector. Prior to joining Aristocrat, he spent seven years with Light & Wonder’s iGaming division, the last three as CEO. During his tenure, he helped L&W “scale the business globally and strengthen its position as a leader in digital gaming,” he says. He has also held leadership roles at NYX Gaming Group and SG Digital and worked with Dunnhumby, an international big data firm.

Aristocrat welcomes the executive’s “track record of operational excellence” and a “customer-first approach that delivers transformative growth.” According to Aristocrat CEO and Managing Director Trevor Croker, that combination will “accelerate momentum in Aristocrat Interactive, including building on our market-leading position in iLottery.”

When Slaney assumed the role in November, job one was “immersing myself in the business, learning from our people and engaging deeply with our customers and players.

“Aristocrat has a strong culture of creativity and innovation and a deep commitment to responsible gameplay,” he says. “I see my role as amplifying those strengths, ensuring we continue to bring premium, cutting-edge iGaming experiences to operators and players while delivering sustainable value for shareholders.”

Compared to his prior career rungs, he says Aristocrat Interactive “offers a broader canvas, combining scale, innovation and a unique opportunity to shape the future of interactive entertainment.”

Outside the workplace, the U.K. native is “passionate about travel and snowboarding, which give me both adventure and perspective.” He is also a big fan of American football, especially the Miami Dolphins. “Each Sunday during the season you’ll find me, my wife and our three daughters watching the NFL,” he says. “It’s a great way to unwind and share time together.”

Heading into 2026, Slaney’s priority is to “accelerate our business strategy while nurturing the culture that makes Aristocrat Interactive so distinctive.

“By strengthening our culture of teamwork and creativity, we can continue to deliver exceptional experiences for operators and players while ensuring long-term growth and value for all stakeholders.

“I believe our people are our greatest asset—they are our superpower,” says the CEO, who is based in London. “We have the top talent working with the best content; my focus is on empowering our people to collaborate, innovate and thrive together.”
