This new addition to IGT’s Stinkin’ Rich series—complete with game host “Richard the Skunk”—modernizes the theme with three pots leading to instant bonus events. It is available in two base themes, Hawaii and Wild West. (Richard the Skunk dresses to match the base theme, of course.)

The base game is a 75-line video slot in a five-by-five format (five reels, five rows of symbols), on the three-screen Rise32 cabinet. Above the reels are three collection pots, marked “Keys to Riches,” “Wild” and “Trash for Cash.” As the pots fill, the piles of different-colored coins extend from the middle screen to the top screen before bursting to trigger one of the bonus features.

“Keys to Riches” is a free-spin bonus, triggered either by the pot or through three or more bonus symbols on the reels. The free-spin bonus features multiplier wild symbols for potentially huge wins. Any of the bonuses can be triggered during the free spins, including a re-trigger of the free-game bonus. Key symbols landing during the feature unlock expanded reel arrays.

“Wild” is by far the most frequent bonus. When triggered, Richard the Skunk appears and throws a random number of wild symbols to the reels, after which the reel result is re-evaluated—typically resulting in multiple five-of-a-kind wins.

“Trash for Cash” triggers a second screen in which the player picks trash can lids to reveal credit symbols or one of five jackpots, ranging from a Mini prize of $50 to a Grand progressive resetting at $10,000. The player picks lids, accumulating the prizes until revealing two “smelly fish” symbols to end the bonus. Jackpot symbols result in a wheel that spins among the five prizes after the bonus ends.

During primary or free spins, Richard the Skunk can appear randomly to boost values in the corresponding collection chests, additional credit values or a jackpot wheel for big wins.
