Slot Machines Lead Grand Korea Leisure’s February Revenue Surge 

Grand Korea Leisure reported a robust February as table games and slot machines both lifted revenue, underscoring momentum in foreigner-focused gambling as international travel rebounds.

According to Inside Asian Gaming, GKL posted casino sales of KRW38.08 billion in February 2026, up 17.3% year-on-year and 4% above January. 

It was led by table-game receipts of KRW34.75 billion, a 15.9% increase that improved average daily performance despite a shorter trading month. 

The company operates three foreigner-only Seven Luck casinos in Seoul and Busan.

Slot Machine Segment Rebounds Faster Annually

Machine revenues reached KRW3.32 billion in February, a 35% jump from the prior year, though down modestly month-on-month from January. 

The contrasting patterns, strong year-on-year growth in machines alongside resilient table performance, point to a broader recovery in discretionary tourist spending and visiting across electronic and live gaming.

Solid Start to 2026

Cumulative sales for January-February totaled KRW74.67 billion, an 11.8% gain over the same period in 2025, supported by double-digit growth in both tables and machines. GKL was a primary beneficiary of South Korea’s tourism rebound, following an 8% rise in full-year 2025 casino sales.
