Shimon Akad, Chief Operating Officer, Playtech
Playtech is one of the most important suppliers in the global gaming industry. Starting as a smaller European online gaming supplier, Playtech grew rapidly internationally and entered the U.S. market more than five years ago. Shimon Akad joined Playtech in 2011 and has risen to become the chief operating officer. He talks about the wide range of services offered by Playtech, why and how they decided to enter the U.S. market, and why he believes the regulated markets recognize Playtech as a trusted partner.
