Scientific Games Secures Retail Deal with Georgia Lottery
Scientific Games has announced a retail instant scratch games partnership with the Georgia Lottery Corporation.
Under the new deal, Scientific Games will launch its SCiQ retail ecosystem at 1,500 locations across Georgia. The developer said its SCiQ technology “modernizes” how scratch games are sold and managed.
Key features of SCiQ include real-time inventory tracking, advanced sales analytics, reporting tools, digital menu boards and game dispensing bins.
The arrangement will extend a long-running partnership between the supplier and Georgia Lottery. This began at the lottery’s inception in 1993, with the two parties working together across a range of initiatives.
Scientific Games Addresses Evolving Retail Sector
Georgia Lottery President and CEO Gretchen Corbin said the expanded partnership will address evolving retail environments and make it easier for consumers to play.
“SCiQ brings a modern retail presence to our instant games,” she said. “It helps our retailers operate more efficiently and ultimately supports our mission to maximize revenues for the HOPE Scholarship and Georgia Pre-K program.”
John Schulz, president of the Americas for Scientific Games, said the enterprise was “proud” to bring SCiQ to its home state.
“The Georgia Lottery has always been a forward-thinking partner,” Schulz said. “This retail modernization initiative is another move to ensure future growth for its instant game business to sustain future funding for Georgia’s students.”
