Scientific Games and the Florida Lottery have announced retail sales of their long-running Scratch-Off game partnership reached a record $7.093 billion in 2025.

The annual figure narrowly beat the prior record of $7.091 billion set in 2022. In total, Scratch-Off games in 2025 represented almost 74% of the lottery’s annual sales.

Data from Scientific Games and the Florida Lottery showed Scratch-Off game retail sales were 6.8% higher year-on-year. Players won more than $5.23 billion in prizes, while the lottery’s network of retailers earned $425 million in commission.

Gold Rush Multiplier was the most popular Scratch-Off game among players. It accounted for $1.29 billion, or 18.3%, of total Scratch-Off sales in 2025. Week For Life and Holiday Cash were also recognised as top-performing games.

Florida Lottery Talks Up Education Benefits

Reginald Dixon, acting secretary of the Florida Lottery, said higher sales meant more money was sent to Florida’s public schools, colleges and universities. In total, $1.21 billion from Scratch-Off game sales was directed to the Florida Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.

“We are extremely proud of our partnership with Scientific Games,” Dixon said. “Our work together continues to achieve high performance for our Scratch-Off games by using data analytics to inform our game portfolio planning and logistics.

“More than breaking a record, our efforts drove higher contribution to education for Florida’s public schools, colleges and universities, as well as the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.”

Angela Goodwin, senior vice president of instant products, Americas, at Scientific Games, added: “We have collaborated closely with the Florida Lottery’s team to drive responsible growth with Scratch-Off games, and our long-time partnership has proven to be highly successful.”
