The cheque was presented on March 25 at The Venetian Macao to representatives of the Youth Volunteers Association of Macao, Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Service Coordination Office, Young Men’s Christian Association of Macau, Macao Leisure Industry Employees Home and Bosco Youth Service Network.

This contribution continues an annual pattern: Sands China says it ran more than 150 responsible-gaming events in 2025 that engaged over 150,000 participants and delivered more than 30,000 training hours, and it recently launched the Sands Responsible Gaming Academy.
Company statements note cumulative donations since 2006 approach MOP 10 million and that Sands was an early adopter of measures such as a self-exclusion programme and mandatory team-member training.
According to the announcement, Michael Lee, vice president of concession administration and casino compliance for Sands China Ltd., said: “For 21 years, we have supported social service organisations through annual donations, enabling them to deliver education, outreach, and training programmes across the community.”
“This long‑term collaboration has helped integrate responsible gaming concepts into everyday life.”
“Moving forward, we will continue to introduce diverse and innovative promotional initiatives to deepen public understanding of responsible gaming and support the healthy, orderly development of the integrated tourism and leisure industry.”
The company indicated it will keep partnering with community groups to broaden outreach and training across Macau.
