Royalton Welcomes First Guests to Cancun Properties

Royalton Cancun

Royalton Hotels & Resorts has officially welcomed the first guests to new Royalton Riviera-branded properties under the Autograph Collection All-Inclusive umbrella in Cancun, Mexico.

Royalton Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort & Casino and Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort – Adults Only have both formally opened.

This came after Royalton took over the management of the two properties on December 7. It followed a multimillion-dollar renovation program, revamping suites, restaurants, social venues and public areas across the properties.

The accommodations now offer a combined 1,183 suites. This is in addition to a host of on-site amenities, including a land-based casino at the Royalton Riviera Cancun location.

‘Important Moment’ for Royalton

Jordi Pelfort, president of Royalton Hotels & Resorts, said Cancun is an “influential” location for the company and the two properties will strengthen its position in the region.

“The opening of these resorts represents an important moment for our company,” Pelfort said. “Cancun continues to be one of the most influential destinations in our portfolio and a place that has shaped our growth over the years.

“With this new beginning, we reinforce our long-term commitment to the region, create new opportunities for our teams and partners, and offer guests an experience that reflects the future of our brand.”

Royalton took over the properties as a recently formed all-inclusive hospitality business. It manages a portfolio of 24 resorts across seven Caribbean locations.
