Platform for Growth

Eric Flores was born in Colorado but grew up in Southern California, amid the economic diversity of the Viejas tribal reservation and beyond. That experience shaped his view of business, partnerships and responsibility, and ultimately it introduced Flores to tribal gaming, which serves as a lifeline for so many in the community.

With both family and mentors in gaming, he naturally gravitated to a career in the industry. “I entered through business operations and strategic development, working alongside organizations that supported tribal and commercial operators,” Flores recalls. “Over time, my work deepened at the intersection of gaming, technology and economic development, particularly in helping tribal partners navigate growth, modernization and long-term sustainability.”

Flores now serves as chief operating officer of Trilogy Group, which offers strategic support to tribal enterprises, including gaming, and supports their economic development and diversification. He also leads its Trilogy Digital division.

“My role spans operational strategy, partnership development and execution, ensuring that ideas translate into scalable, durable systems that serve both our partners and the markets they operate in,” he says.

Flores offers digital marketing support for brands looking to reach their target audience in a more authentic, engaging way. Leveraging the popularity and credibility of established social media influencers, he helps companies increase brand awareness, drive traffic and boost sales. That’s meaningful assistance.

“Perfection is lots of little things done well,” Flores says, quoting noted British chef and restaurateur Marco Pierre White. “Our focus remains on building closed-loop growth systems that support tribal and commercial partners alike, while selectively expanding into new markets where our approach can add long-term value.”

Flores thanks the mentors and leaders who have deepened his understanding of tribal enterprise and its significance for indigenous nations across the country, saying, “Their guidance has shaped how I approach leadership, partnership and stewardship in this industry.”

For professional guidance and inspiration, he has turned to, among others, Valerie Spicer, Trilogy Group founder and president; Sheila Morago, Trilogy Group CEO; Kevin Murphy, Trilogy Group chief marketing officer and Trilogy Digital partner; Jason Rosenberg, CEO of American iGaming Solutions; and Frank Riolo, principal of the Riolo Group.

“Each contributed in different ways, from reinforcing disciplined leadership and operational rigor to emphasizing relationship-driven growth and long-term vision,” he explains. “Their collective influence shaped how I approach leadership and collaboration.” That approach has helped him raise millions in capital for a new product launch.

“I work closely with teams and partners who bring diverse experience and perspectives, using digital tools to coordinate execution, improve transparency and turn strategy into action. When systems support people—rather than complicate their work—teams can operate with focus, speed and consistency.”

Outside work, Flores keeps to a disciplined fitness routine and prioritizes time with his wife, Paige, and their son, Callen. On the job, his goals include building meaningful platforms with strong teams and partners and contributing to sustained growth for the communities Trilogy works with. “Long-term success, to me, is measured not just by scale, but by impact and integrity,” he says.
