Plateau Travel Plaza in Oregon Set For Renovation Project
Tribal-run Plateau Travel Plaza in Madras, Oregon is to undergo an expansion and renovation project, including doubling the size of its slots machine area.
The new-look gaming room will feature a selection of new slot machines. Slot play will also remain part of Indian Head Casino’s player rewards program.
Other improvements include new fresh food options and upgrades to the on-site store, such as a new coffee station.
The venue is owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and Warm Springs Casino Enterprises. The property opened in 2018.
Project to Create New Jobs at Plateau Travel Plaza
Construction is scheduled to begin in late August. Fuel lanes and all trucker amenities will remain open while work takes place at the Plateau Travel Plaza.
Venue owners reported that 20 permanent positions will be created as a result of the project. This in in addition to hundreds of construction jobs during the work
