PhilWeb and Okada Manila Launch OKADA PLAY
PhilWeb Corporation and Okada Manila, have officially launched OKADA PLAY, an online gaming platform designed to extend the integrated resort’s gaming offerings into digital channels.

- Okada Play marks a key step in Okada Manila’s digital transformation.
- The platform extends resort experiences beyond physical premises.
- Philippine gaming operators are increasingly leveraging digital channels for diversification.
This marks a step in Okada Manila’s digital transformation plan aimed at merging its land-based casino experience with online services. The platform went live on May 13 and is built on PhilWeb’s online gaming stack, which combines game content, platform technology and customer support inside the country’s regulated online gaming framework.
PhilWeb is a longtime local supplier of gaming-technology and services. The company emphasized that OKADA PLAY is delivered under a stringent regulatory framework.
‘Robust and Scalable Platform’
President of PhilWeb, Brian Ng said “the official launch of OKADA PLAY demonstrates our capability to execute and deploy end-to-end digital infrastructure for the industry’s most recognized luxury brands.”
“We are proud to provide the robust, scalable platform that enables Tiger Resort (Okada’s operator) to extend the premium Okada Manila experience to a growing nationwide audience of digital players.”
The platform aims to engage a wider, nationwide audience of digital players while creating scalable revenue streams beyond Okada Manila’s physical property.
A Key Milestone for Okada
Nobuki Sato, Okada Manila’s president and COO, described the platform as a key milestone for the company.
“Okada Play complements our land-based operations and our existing online platform, while PhilWeb’s technology and operational expertise help us deliver a trusted online gaming experience associated with the Okada Manila brand.”
This comes as Okada Manila saw a continuous decline in their revenue in Q1 of this year. Gross gaming revenue fell 17.2% year on year, following from a 34% year-on-year decline in Q4 of 2025.
With Philippine gaming operators increasingly adopting omnichannel strategies, Okada Play allows Okada Manila to reach players beyond geographic limits of the onsite casino. The platform launch comes amid vigilant regulatory oversight by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). The regulator recently expanded their casino ban list to include personnel of the Department of Justice.
