Slot machines are more complex and costly than ever to maintain. Replacing a broken monitor, button panel or motherboard can run several thousand dollars apiece, and these parts break down, leading to down machines and lost slot revenue.

SlotCycle launched its first-of-its-kind Parts Refurbishment Program to casinos and OEMs in early 2026 and is featured at G2E 2026, giving casinos an alternative to buying new or used parts, or turning to repair shops that are slow and inconsistent. Customers need a trustworthy provider that delivers refurbished, not repaired, units built to last, on time.

Gaming machines generate a steady stream of failed parts: CPU and MPU boards, power supplies, bill validators, ticket printers, and LCD monitors. Replacing each with new inventory is costly, and every down machine is lost revenue. SlotCycle’s expert technicians combine electronics and slot machine repair experience in a six-step process: intake and diagnostic, disassembly and cleaning, refurbishment, testing, documentation, and delivery back to the property.

What separates the refurbishment service from a standard repair is durability and accounting treatment. A repair fixes what is broken, a bare minimum standard. SlotCycle extends the part’s useful life by repairing, replacing suspect components, and testing to a higher standard that qualifies as refurbishment under GAAP (ASC 360-10-35-2), letting many casinos capitalize the cost rather than expense it immediately. That shift moves spending off the P&L and onto the balance sheet as a depreciable asset, improving reported EBITDA, and giving operators a cleaner return on maintenance dollars.

Results are already showing. Over a two-year period with a trial customer, a major California tribal casino with 2,400 machines, SlotCycle has achieved an 85 percent success rate refurbishing failed parts, reducing the casino’s maintenance costs.
