Ocean Casino Resort Hosts Launch Event for New Mini Golf & Bar

Ocean Casino Resort has officially opened the new Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar attraction at its property in Atlantic City.

The launch event took place on January 17, featuring an appearance by actor Christopher McDonald, who played Shooter McGavin in the hit golf film Happy Gilmore.

Located on the casino level, Ocean’s 18 is the first mini golf course built inside an Atlantic City casino. It spans 8,000 square feet across two levels and features two nine-hole mini golf courses.

Also within the venue is a full sports bar, featuring large TVs and a curated cocktail menu.

‘New Dimension’ for Ocean Casino Resort

Bill Callahan, general manager of Ocean Casino Resort, said the new attraction it will bring people together at what is a “must-visit” destination in the city.

“By combining the nostalgia of mini golf with cutting-edge technology, a vibrant bar scene and our unmatched entertainment offerings, Ocean’s 18 adds an entirely new dimension to the guest experience and reinforces Ocean as a must-visit destination in Atlantic City,” Callahan said.

Mark Benevento, owner-operator of Ocean’s 18, added: “As the first mini golf experience inside a casino in Atlantic City, Ocean’s 18 reimagines what entertainment in Atlantic City can be.

“With immersive technology, a multilingual avatar and a nostalgia-driven design, it blends Jersey Shore culture and innovation into a one-of-a-kind experience anyone can enjoy.”

Ocean’s 18 will be open every day of the week but Tuesdays. The venue will also launch a hotel package in partnership with local golf courses and branded golfwear later this year.
