This latest in Aristocrat’s series of NFL-themed slots combines a unique Hold & Spin bonus with a progressive bonus and wheel-spin in a rich collection of football-themed features. As with other games in the NFL series, the player selects one of the 32 NFL teams, and the theming and images of the game switch to reflect that team and that home city.

The base game is a five-reel video slot, its payline configuration depending on the denomination. Line setups range from a five-line, $2 version to a 100-line penny or 2-cent game.

In the primary game, bonus symbols can trigger a Bonus Wheel, which spins to one of several NFL-themed bonus features common to the game family, including Mega Symbol, Instant Catch, Field Goal Frenzy and Red Zone.

Six or more cash-on-reels coins trigger the Gridiron Galaxy Feature, a version of Aristocrat’s trademark Hold & Spin bonus played out on a football field, as seen from the sky. The cash awards get higher as the player progresses up the field to potentially fill all spots to trigger the Super Grand Jackpot, a multi-site progressive resetting at $50,000.

The other way to the top jackpot is through a feature within the Hold & Spin feature. Landing a Super Grand Bonus symbol in the Gridiron Galaxy feature unlocks that secondary bonus, a separate Hold & Spin event on a three-by-three grid. Filling all nine spots awards the Super ($2,500 reset), Grand ($10,000 reset) or Super Grand Jackpot ($50,000-plus).
