Kambi Scores Sportsbook Extension with Penn Entertainment
Kambi Group and Penn Entertainment have agreed to extend their retail sportsbook partnership through to July 31, 2027.
The agreement supersedes a previous agreement that was set to expire on December 31 this year. It covers on-property sportsbooks active by end of 2025, with Kambi currently supporting 30 Penn properties across 13 US states.
Under the extended deal, Kambi’s premium retail sports betting technology will continue to power Penn on-property sportsbooks. This, Kambi said, will provide additional flexibility to Penn as it prepares for migration to its proprietary technology.
Kambi’s retail offering features trading capabilities, betting kiosks, ‘Bring Your Own Device’ technology and over-the-counter wagering solutions.
Flexibility for Penn and Kambi
Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi, welcomed the new agreement. He said that it will build on the success of the existing partnership with Penn.
“We are pleased to extend our retail agreement with Penn, reaffirming Kambi’s position as the trusted sportsbook provider for leading operators,” he said. “This agreement ensures Penn can continue to benefit from our high-performance technology while maintaining the flexibility to execute its long-term strategic plans.
“We look forward to continuing to work alongside Penn to deliver exceptional retail sportsbook experiences for its customers across the US.”
