Kambi Scores Sportsbook Extension with Churchill Downs Incorporated
Kambi Group has agreed to extend its longstanding sports betting partnership with Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI).
Under the multi-year deal, CDI will continue to have access to Kambi’s full-service turnkey sportsbook. This will include supporting operations at each of its on-site sportsbooks and racing venues.
Kambi will provide its premium retail sportsbook technology at CDI’s 15 retail sportsbooks located across eight U.S. states. It will also cover CDI’s retail expansion into Maine, with this expected before the end of the year.
The Kambi retail offering includes trading capabilities, betting kiosks and over-the-counter wagering.
Churchill Downs Talks Up Retail Growth
Bill Mudd, president and chief operating officer of CDI, said the expansion will support the company’s ongoing growth efforts in the retail betting market.
“We are delighted to continue our successful relationship with Kambi as we aim to expand our retail sports betting operations,” Mudd said. “Kambi’s proven technology and commitment to excellence align with our mission to deliver exceptional wagering experiences in both sports and horse racing, which remains at the heart of our business.”
Kambo CEO Werner Becher added: “We are pleased to extend our partnership with Churchill Downs Incorporated as we both share the same commitment to delivering high-quality betting and entertainment experiences.
“CDI’s deep-rooted heritage in horse racing and its growing retail sportsbook footprint makes them an ideal partner for our turnkey sportsbook. We look forward to continuing to support their expansion and continued success across the U.S.”
