Jordan Is Second Woman to Join LVS Board
Nora Jordan, a partner with New York-based law firm Davis Polk’s Investment Management Group, joined the Las Vegas Sands board of directors on January 1.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Jordan has led New York-based Davis Polk’s for more than 20 years, advising hedge funds, mutual funds and private equity funds. She has worked on numerous internal and SEC investigations involving asset managers and acquisitions, reorganizations and restructurings of asset managers.
As a non-employee director, Jordan will be paid between $100,000 and $150,000 for her services as described in the LVS 2020 proxy statement.
Jordan joins Micheline Chau as the second woman on the 11-member board under Sands Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson.
