Inspire Entertainment Resort COO Wade Howk to Depart
Howk was COO since 2023
Wade Howk, the chief operating officer of INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon, has said he plans to leave South Korea after three years and return to the United States.
In a LinkedIn post, Howk said he had helped open and expand the resort with its team. He did not say when he would depart or what role, if any, he would take next.
Howk was named COO in 2023, before the property’s foreigner-only casino opened in February 2024.
Long Line of Recent Moves
The timing of his exit comes after a series of ownership and leadership changes. Bain Capital took control of the resort in February 2025, Gyubum Ko became chief executive in December 2025 and Steven Wolstenholme was appointed chief casino officer in February 2026.
In that role, the company said Wolstenholme “will oversee the establishment of INSPIRE’s enterprise-wide casino strategies and the advancement of operational processes”.
Inspire recently extended its casino technology stack with IDX Games’ X-Trend platform and display systems as it expands the gaming floor at its Incheon property.
The upgrade builds on an earlier rollout across 110 tables and is expected to add roughly 30% more installation coverage
