Hann Casino Resort in Clark, Philippines, will open the first phase of a large-scale casino expansion called The Canyon on Friday 12th December.

Key Takeaways:

  • Hann Casino Resort in Clark, Philippines, opens phase one of The Canyon casino expansion this Friday
  • Adds over 500 slot machines and 60 table games, boosting capacity amid rising demand
  • Project backed by a P20 billion investment and slated for full completion by early 2026

Strategic Casino Expansion Designed to Ease Floor Congestion

The expansion will significantly boost gaming capacity as the operator responds to rising demand in Central Luzon’s leisure market following its initial soft opening of casino facilities in late 2021.

According to World Casino Directory, the multi-level casino extension adds more than 500 slot machines and over 60 table games to a resort that previously listed about 1,000 slots and 200 tables, expanding gaming floors and introducing new dining venues.

The project footprint spans roughly 22,113 square meters and the company says the second floor, reserved for premium gaming and dining, will be finished in early 2026 according to Hann Resorts.

Operator Cites Rising Demand and Product Testing Needs

Speaking to Inside Asian Gaming back in March, Dennis Andreaci, Senior Vice President of Casino Operations, said: “The idea was to create a larger, more dynamic main gaming floor,” and described peak-period crowding and the desire to test new game concepts as drivers of the build-out.

The company claims phases complete by Q4 2025 and full delivery by Q1 2026, while parallel projects in New Clark City, including a Nick Faldo–designed golf course, remain underway.
