New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill will deliver the keynote address at the 29th Annual East Coast Gaming Congress (ECGC), marking a significant moment for the gaming industry as it navigates rapid change across the East Coast market. The conference will be held April 14–15 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

“We are thrilled to have Gov. Sherrill deliver the keynote address at our annual conference,” said conference co-founder Lloyd D. Levenson, CEO of Cooper Levenson. “Her participation underscores the relevance of ECGC as a forum where industry leaders and policymakers come together to discuss how to support a successful future for this critical sector.”

Governor Sherrill, a former Navy helicopter pilot and federal prosecutor, was elected to the state’s highest office in 2025 and was inaugurated last month. She previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District.

“New Jersey has long set the standard for gaming policies that other states follow, with leadership that starts at the top. Governor Sherill will be the seventh state leader to address the conference, following a tradition that began with former Governor Brendan Byrne at our inaugural event,” conference co-founder and Spectrum Gaming Group Senior Policy Advisor Michael Pollock noted.

The entire 2026 ECGC program will tackle key issues including artificial intelligence, prediction markets, iGaming expansion and the anticipated impact from the development of full-service casino resorts in the Downstate New York market.

ECGC will also present its Lifetime Achievement Award to the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers in recognition of its longstanding commitment to the integrity and principles of gaming licensure.

The 2026 conference will again offer premier opportunities for sponsorship, networking, professional development and high-level business-to-business engagement.
