Garmisch Gaming, RBW Join to Form RBW Systems

Garmisch Gaming Consultants LLC (GGC), a U.S. -based gaming consultancy with extensive expertise in regulated route markets, and U.K.-based RBW Systems Ltd., a leader in land-based gaming systems, have joined forces to launch RBW Systems Americas LLC (RBWA). This newly formed company will service Puerto Rico’s regulated gaming market with systems designed to improve security, transparency and operational efficiency.

RBWA’s debut offering will include locally supported solutions for ticket-in/ticket-out systems, financial metering and advanced monitoring technologies. These tools are tailored to meet Puerto Rico’s regulatory standards, including compliance with GLI-13.

“Puerto Rico’s route market is entering a new phase of growth, and that demands trusted, scalable systems,” said Rick Meitzler, co-founder of GGC. “We’re combining decades of industry experience with forward-thinking technology to help local operators meet the highest standards—and succeed.”

Garmisch Gaming Consultants, founded in 2024, is led by Meitzler, a veteran with more than 47 years in the gaming industry. Meitzler previously served as president and CEO of Novomatic Americas Sales and has been active in Puerto Rico’s gaming landscape since the 1980s.

Co-founder Pamela Sandbulte-Meitzler, an MBA and serial entrepreneur, brings operational and financial expertise to the venture.

GGC’s experience in the Illinois and Pennsylvania route markets has informed its strategy in Puerto Rico, where it is actively working to support safe, efficient gaming operations. The company also co-owns Integrated Cash Systems, a provider of ATM/kiosk technology tailored for regulated gaming environments.

RBW Systems Ltd., under the leadership of Managing Director Rob Wheeler, is the U.K.’s leading independent route systems supplier with over 350 installations and more than 10,000 machines managed by its Guardian platform—a modular system that handles real-time monitoring, financial metering and TITO.

Wheeler brings decades of experience in design and delivery of route systems, having worked with U.S. firms, notably Bally Technologies during the Illinois route rollout, before establishing RBW Systems in the U.K. in 2016.
