ECGC to Examine Potential NY Casino Fallout

The coming of three destination resorts to downstate New York is expected to significantly reshape the East Coast gaming landscape. The potential regional and economic implications will be a central focus of the 29th annual East Coast Gaming Congress to be held April 14–15 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

ECGC will also present its Lifetime Achievement Award to the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers in recognition of its longstanding commitment to the integrity and principles of gaming licensure.

Other featured panels announced for this year’s ECGC include a discussion of the controversial and fast-growing prediction markets. A panel of experts at ECGC will explore the legal, regulatory and commercial implications of expanding, regulating or shutting down prediction markets, including the impact of this much-contested vertical in gaming.
