Crown Resorts Acquires Majority of DGN Games
Crown Resorts has announced a majority acquisition of social gaming company DGN Games.
Crown Resorts will obtain a 60 percent share of the business. The agreement means Crown will pay $27.5 million for the majority holding of the company which is based in Texas and specializes in social gambling and social gaming.
Crown Resorts also promised to invest $5 million to DGN Games in order to support new development and growth.
Global Cash Access to Games, Payment Solutions to Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort
Global Cash Access Holdings has announced a deal to provide electronic gaming machines and payments solutions to the soon-to-open Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in D’Iberville, Mississippi.
Global Cash Access Holdings will provide electronic gaming machines and payments solutions to the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in D’Iberville, Mississippi under a newly announced deal.
The agreement includes the sale and placement of slot machine banks, including the company’s TournEvent slot tournament system. Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort will also utilize a full suite of cash access, marketing and compliance payments solutions, the company said in a press statement.

Our strategic partnership with GCA for their gaming and payments solutions will help us to meet this goal. We are looking forward to building a long-term relationship with GCA and know that their ability to provide both games and payment services will help us better serve our patrons,” said Denise Barton, CEO of Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort.
