Crown Princess Cruise Ship Revamps Casino and Gaming Offering
Princess Cruises has completed a major revamp of the casino area and gaming amenities on board its flagship Crown Princess vessel.
The 113,561-ton vessel, which accommodates up to 3,080 guests, has returned to service following a scheduled drydock in Singapore, featuring a series of refurbishments aimed at enhancing onboard guest experiences.
Central to the refresh is the reimagined Gatsby’s Casino, where Princess has updated both layout and equipment to improve guest flow, comfort and dwell time. The casino now features a redesigned casino bar, an updated cashier area and new gaming equipment, including the latest slot machine themes, alongside traditional table games such as blackjack and roulette. The changes are designed to modernize the casino environment and strengthen its role as a core onboard revenue driver.
Additional enhancements include a new bar area and the introduction of an EFFY Lounge and high-end jewelry vault, replacing the former internet café, further expanding retail and luxury spend opportunities onboard.
Elevating the Guest Experience
“Every drydock is an opportunity to elevate the guest experience, and Crown Princess’ latest enhancements reflect our ongoing commitment to evolve and modernize our onboard offerings,” said Lorna Warren, vice president of hotel operations and guest experience at Princess Cruises. “From refreshing our casino experience to introducing guest-favorite venues, these updates position Crown Princess strongly for the seasons ahead.”
Following the refit, Crown Princess will arrive in Sydney in early January ahead of a series of Australia itineraries running through May. The ship will then depart Sydney on a 114-day World Cruise departing May 10.
